In 1911, the company that would one day
become Clausing Industrial, Inc. was born. Known then as Atlas
Press Company, the firm produced arbor presses for
the fledgling automotive and other manufacturing industries.
Today, Clausing provides
United States representation and distribution for machine
tool manufacturers based in Brazil, Canada, China, Czech
Republic, Denmark, England, Spain and Taiwan. Clausing
continues its manufacturing heritage with full production
facilities, building the complete range of Clausing drill
presses and the "Kalamazoo" range of sawing
machines.
Clausing products are represented by more
than 300 distributors located in virtually every
metropolitan area in the United States and Canada.
Clausing also maintains a Manufacturing
Membership in the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT)
and in the American Machine Tool Distributors Association (AMTDA).
A large number of Clausing dealers are Distributor Members
of AMTDA.
Behind every Clausing standard product is The Clausing
Service Center, a seperate facility designed solely to
support our customers' parts and service needs. With more
than 47,000 parts in inventory, the service center can
provide many parts for machines you may have purchased more
than 50 years ago....and 95% of all parts orders are shipped
within 24 hours!
In addition to supplying parts, we have a staff of highly
qualified technicians, available to solve problems all
across the country. Regular service schools are conducted
for dealer personnel to insure that each and every Clausing
dealer has a highly trained service staff.
