Model 28-348 14" Metal-Cutting, Wood-Cutting Band Saw includes enclosed stand, 1
1/2 HP, 115/230 V, guarded drip-proof motor; push button switch, blade and belt
guards, arbor & motor pulleys and V-belt, blade guides, wood cutting blade,
quick index tensioning device and instruction manual.
THE DELTA DIFFERENCE
- Micrometer adjustment for ball bearing blade support and blade guide
blocks assure superior accuracy.
- Full 16" x 16" cast-iron table tilts 45 degrees right and 9 degrees left
for beveling operations.
- Capacity to cut stock up to 6 1/4" thick.
- 4" integral dust port for woodcutting operations.
- Quick-stop table presets with table turret stop system.
- Side take-out slot for blade permits use of solid front trunnion (not
split for blade removal) located directly under work load. Rip fence guide
rails need not be removed when changing blades.
- Lower blade guides have safe, accurate, micrometer adjustment. Lower
guides angled to support blade to within 3/4" of table work surface -
assures accurate cutting.
- Nine-spoke, precision-balanced wheels.
- Veri-Set™ index tensioning lever.
- Multi-step pulley for changing speeds for different metal cutting
operations.
- Oil bath transmission for efficient transfer of power.
