These 12 and 20 wood turning lathes were
designed and built for professionals who want superior performance. Both
models are equipped with 4-step pulley and electronic variation and reverse
control to provide excellent control for a wide variety of production
requirements. Add their superior design and cast-iron construction and you
have very strong, accurate and stable machines. |

Both
models are equipped with electronic control modules and push buttons to
provide quick change of speed and reversible. Moreover, 2 dynamically
balanced cast-iron 4-step pulleys are fitted to the motor and spindle to
provide excellent control for a wide variety of
production requirements.

A
spring-loaded quick release lever is fitted to the motor mount so as to
change speeds by
releasing belt tension and repositioning the drive belt on the pulley.

The
headstock, tailstock, and bed all made out of well ribbed, high-quality
cast-iron to eliminate distortion. The bed guideways are precision- machined
to allow the tailstock and
the tool rest base to slide
easily without friction. |

The headstock cover is removable
for access to the spindle and the indexing mechanism.
|
|
|
The
tailstock is equipped with a quick-locking eccentric lever system. The
spindle is bored for a Morse No. 2 taper and is self-ejecting. A handwheel
provides 2 tailstock spindle
travel while a locking lever
locks it in position. |

The
tool rest base is made of precision-machined cast-iron and moves easily on
guideways. A lever
locking mechanism quickly secures it in the required position. |

The
high-quality, heavy-duty steel base is composed of a one-piece cabinet with
shelving for stability and strength. A large hinged door with latch in front
of the machine gives
access to the mechanism and motor. |

Approximate table of speed
ratios is fitted to the front of the headstock. |

push-button on/off switch, a speed control and a reverse button are fitted
